Flying J Off The Hook As Coke Supplier To Hanford

Law360, New York (March 6, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- The bankruptcy court overseeing Flying J Inc.'s Chapter 11 proceedings has let the oil company off the hook for supplying petroleum coke to a California energy supplier now that Flying J has shut down its refinery operations in the state.

In an order signed Wednesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, Judge Mary F. Walrath authorized the Flying J debtors to reject and terminate a purchase and sale agreement it had with Hanford LP to produce and supply certain quantities of petroleum...
