Bharara Will Take Post At NYU Law School

Law360, New York (March 21, 2017, 4:17 PM EDT) -- Former Manhattan U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara will join the New York University School of Law next month as a distinguished scholar-in-residence, the school said Tuesday, marking the first major commitment by the white collar prosecutor after he was sacked earlier this month.

Bharara, who was fired after he refused to resign, spent eight years overseeing federal prosecutions of financial crimes, public corruption, terrorism and other high-profile matters in the Southern District of New York.
