9th Circ. Says Health Care Providers Can't Make ERISA Claims

Law360, Los Angeles (March 22, 2017, 5:11 PM EDT) -- The Ninth Circuit on Wednesday affirmed a finding that health care providers couldn't make claims under ERISA against plans run by Blue Cross Blue Shield and Anthem Inc. because they're not beneficiaries, shutting down two suits over the plans' collection efforts.
