NY Hospital, Nurses Settle Antitrust Suit For $1.25M

Law360 (March 9, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Two nurses in upstate New York who have accused several area hospitals of conspiring to keep nurses' salaries artificially low have reached a $1.25 million settlement with Northeast Health, one of five defendants in the case, after a federal judge agreed last year to certify a class of more than 2,000 nurses in the area.
