Supreme Court Grants Cert To Mutual Fund Fee Case

Law360, New York (March 9, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Clients alleging that mutual fund manager Harris Associates LP charged excessive fees got one last chance to prove their case when the U.S. Supreme Court granted their petition for certiorari on Monday.

The appeal of the May 2008 decision in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit was the only certiorari petition the court accepted Monday. The case will be heard in the next Supreme Court term, which begins Oct. 5.
