Judge OKs Class In Infineon Shareholder Action

Law360, New York (March 9, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal court has certified a class in a consolidated shareholder class action against dynamic random access memory maker Infineon Technologies AG that claims the company engaged in a price-fixing scheme that led to investor losses.

Judge James Ware of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California certified a class that included all those who purchased or otherwise acquired Infineon securities between March 13, 2000 and July 19, 2004, who sold their securities after June 18, 2002, and who suffered losses.
