'Bully' Louis Vuitton Should Pay Attys' Fees, Bag Co. Says.

Law360, New York (April 10, 2017, 6:14 PM EDT) -- A small company that beat infringement claims filed by Louis Vuitton Malletier SA over parody tote bags has doubled its demand for attorneys' fees after defeating the “trademark bully” again at the Second Circuit.

Four months after the appeals court affirmed a ruling that the “My Other Bag” line — canvas totes decorated with cartoon imagery of high-end bags from Louis Vuitton — were protected by trademark’s parody defense, My Other Bag Inc. asked a district court to award it more than $800,000 in attorneys' fees.
