Toshiba Medical Settles MRI Patent Suit With NeuroGrafix
Law360, New York (April 17, 2017, 5:52 PM EDT) -- NeuroGrafix and Toshiba Medical on Friday reached an agreement to settle a patent infringement suit over MRI imaging technology in which Toshiba had asked the Massachusetts federal court to extend the Federal Circuit’s Williamson decision to a step-and-function claim.
Medical technology company NeuroGrafix and Toshiba Medical Systems Corp. asked the District of Massachusetts to stay their portion of the case for up to 60 days to give them time to finalize the terms of the undisclosed agreement, which will involve a payment to NeuroGrafix, according to the joint motion.
Irfan A. Lateef, an attorney representing Toshiba, declined to comment.
