Law Firm Can't Use SLAPP Law V. Insurer: Court

Law360 (March 13, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A California appeals court on Thursday shot down Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP's special motion to dismiss a former client's suit against it by invoking the state's anti-strategic lawsuit against public participation, or anti-SLAPP, law.
