Harvey Keitel Loses 2nd Shot At $1.5M ETrade Ad-Deal Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (April 20, 2017, 10:53 PM EDT) -- Actor Harvey Keitel has lost a renewed bid to hold ETrade Financial Corp. liable for what he claims was a breach of a $1.5 million deal to star in its commercials, as a New York judge held there was no binding agreement, putting the final nail in the suit's coffin.

The April 17 ruling by New York Supreme Court Judge Charles Ramos granted, for the second time, the dismissal of Keitel's suit alleging the online brokerage had reneged on a contract to have the "Taxi Driver" actor appear in television commercials for the company.
