Fiat Plans To Modify Emissions Software In 100K Vehicles

Law360, New York (May 19, 2017, 8:11 PM EDT) -- Fiat Chrysler plans to modify the software used in more than 100,000 diesel vehicles, a move the company believes will help quickly end government investigations into possible excess emissions, the automaker announced Friday.

FCA US LLC said it has formally applied for a diesel vehicle emissions certification with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the California Air Resources Board covering its 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokees and Ram 1500s.
