Pa. Township Sued For Denying Verizon Tower Zoning

Law360, New York (May 22, 2017, 9:19 PM EDT) -- A Verizon Wireless contractor on Monday accused a town zoning board of wrongfully denying its application to build a cell tower in North Buffalo, Pennsylvania, arguing in federal court that it would effectively deprive locals of wireless service in violation of the Communications Act.

Skyway Towers LLC, which constructs and leases wireless communications facilities to major carriers nationwide, argued in its complaint that it had evaluated all possible sites for a cell tower near North Buffalo and had abided by all of the necessary permissions required...
