Law360, New York (May 24, 2017, 2:16 PM EDT) -- Blue Spike nearly halved the number of patents cited in its claims in Texas federal court against more than 100 Juniper Networks wireless products allegedly using its electronic watermark technology in what was previously the largest ever patent suit in the U.S.
Juniper Networks Inc. had requested a 150-day extension in April to respond to Blue Spike LLC's extensive infringement claims involving 26 patents, prompting the Texas-based nonpracticing entity to trim the suit by 12 patents in a May 12 amended complaint.
