Covington Nabs Another Former DOJ Antitrust Head

Law360, New York (March 23, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A second former assistant attorney general at the U.S. Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division will join Covington & Burling LLP in April, returning to the firm to head its global antitrust and competition practice.

Deborah A. Garza took over the assistant attorney general position from Thomas O. Barnett in November, when he left the DOJ to join Covington. Now the two will be working together again as co-chairs of the firm's antitrust group.
