DC Circ. Won't Rethink $19M Award Confirm Against Belize
Law360, Washington (June 7, 2017, 3:59 PM EDT) -- The D.C. Circuit on Wednesday summarily refused to reconsider its decision affirming the confirmation of an $18.5 million, plus interest, London arbitral award won by a Central American bank against the government of Belize.
The appeals court issued two one-sentence denials: one from the panel that heard the case and one noting that no member of the full court asked for a vote on whether to tackle the matter en banc.
