Fla. Appeals Court Tosses Developers' $30M 'Takings' Verdict

Law360, Miami (June 16, 2017, 10:38 PM EDT) -- A state appeals court threw out a $30 million verdict Friday that a property owner won against a small northeastern Florida town, citing an error in the trial court's finding of a land “taking,” but ordered a new trial to weigh a “partial taking.”
