CSIRO, HP Settle Wi-Fi Patent Suit

Law360, New York (March 26, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Hewlett-Packard Co. has become the second plaintiff to reach a settlement with Australia's Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation in a long-running patent suit over the technology behind wireless computer networks.

HP and CSIRO filed a joint motion in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Wednesday, announcing the settlement and asking the judge to dismiss all claims and counterclaims between them.
