European Property Co. Nabs Amsterdam Hotel For $61M

Law360, Los Angeles (July 12, 2017, 1:28 PM EDT) -- European real estate investment firm Avignon Capital dropped €53.8 million ($61.4 million) to purchase a Hyatt-branded hotel in Amsterdam, Netherlands, the company announced Wednesday, as it continues to expand its footprint in the country.

The 13-story Hyatt Place Airport Amsterdam Hotel has 330 guest rooms and is located near Amsterdam’s business district in Hoofddorp, which houses 70 of the Netherlands’ largest companies, Avignon said. The hotel is a short distance from Schiphol airport, Europe's fastest growing major airport and the third busiest in the continent....
