Dem Presses Fed, BofA For Merrill Bonus Details

Law360 (March 30, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Rep. Dennis Kucinich, D-Ohio, has asked top Federal Reserve Board and Bank of America NA officials to provide details about their knowledge of $3.62 billion in bonuses Merrill Lynch & Co Inc. paid its top executives a few weeks before Bank of America received $25 million in federal aid to acquire it.

On Monday, Kucinich sent letters to Bank of America CEO Ken Lewis, Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke and Interim Assistant Director of Financial Stability Neel Kashkari, requesting all documents and communications regarding Merrill's bonuses...
