Ill. Ducks Human Service Coalition's Pay Suit

Law360, Springfield (July 21, 2017, 9:42 PM EDT) -- A lawsuit that would have forced the state of Illinois to pay out tens of millions of dollars to human and social service agencies contracted with the state has been dismissed from St. Clair County Court, the coalition announced Thursday.

St. Clair County Circuit Court Judge Robert LeChien dismissed the case on Monday, writing in his order that an appellate court’s rejection of a similar case last month must dictate his decision in this case.
