Justices Asked To Hear If Aereo Killed 'Volitional' Rule

Law360, New York (July 28, 2017, 9:01 PM EDT) -- BWP Media has urged the U.S. Supreme Court to review a Fifth Circuit decision rejecting the argument that the high court’s 2014 Aereo ruling eliminated the “volitional conduct” requirement for copyright claims, saying the circuit's interpretation of Aereo contradicts the plain reading of the high court’s decision.
