Miami Atty Gets Year In Prison For Forging Judges' Signatures

Law360, Miami (August 3, 2017, 7:57 PM EDT) -- A Florida judge sentenced a Miami attorney Thursday to a year in prison for forging judges' signatures on structured settlement agreements more than 100 times.

Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Ellen Sue Venzer sentenced Jose Manuel Camacho Jr. to 364 days in county jail and 10 years of probation for forging the signatures of several judges in Broward County Circuit Court over the course of several years.

He had pled guilty to 14 felony counts of forgery.
