Radio Shack Sued Over Surveillance System Patent

Law360, New York (April 8, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Keeping a watchful eye over its competitors, Guardian Technologies LLC has accused X10 Wireless Technology Inc. and Radio Shack Corp. of infringing a patent related to security surveillance systems.

The complaint, lodged Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, claims the defendants manufacture and sell infrared activated video surveillance products that incorporate technology protected by a patent Guardian exclusively licenses.
