Dreier Receiver Issues $1.5M Bill For Fees, Expenses

Law360, New York (April 9, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The receiver appointed to handle Dreier LLP’s affairs following accused swindler Marc S. Dreier’s arrest is demanding to be paid for his efforts, seeking to collect an estimated $1.5 million in fees and expenses on behalf of himself and his counsel, Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison LLP.

Court-appointed receiver Mark F. Pomerantz and Paul Weiss on Wednesday submitted their joint request for payment of fees and expenses in connection with months of work on the Dreier case.
