Zilog, Altera Settle Circuitry Patent Suit

Law360 (April 13, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Microprocessor maker Zilog Inc. and programmable logic device maker Altera Corp. have agreed to a settlement in a patent suit alleging that Zilog infringed three of Altera's patents related to integrated circuits.

On Monday, the San Jose, Calif.-based companies announced the settlement of the suit, which was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
