Motorola Claims Ex-CFO Destroyed Evidence

Law360, New York (April 15, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Motorola Inc. has reportedly accused its former Chief Financial Officer Paul Liska, who is pursuing a whistleblower suit against the company after being fired earlier this year, of erasing evidence related to the case from his company-issued laptop.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Motorola filed a motion for sanctions against Liska for “willful spoliation of relevant, material evidence” on Wednesday in the State of Illinois Circuit Court of Cook County. The court has set a hearing on the motion for April 29, the paper reported....
