Law360, New York (October 19, 2017, 7:23 PM EDT) -- Before Toni Jaramilla filed a group of sexual assault and harassment suits in early 2011 against the now-defunct clothing company American Apparel Inc. and Dov Charney, its CEO at the time, she tried to cast a net. The plaintiffs attorney looked for current and former employees to interview about the scope of the alleged problem before bringing a case in court.
