Termination Fee Plaintiff Wants Lawyer Sanctioned

Law360, New York (April 21, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A plaintiff who objected to a $17.5 million deal with Sprint Nextel Corp. in a class action over early termination fees has moved to sanction an attorney who the plaintiff claims withdrew the objection without consent.

Jessica Hall moved for Rule 11 sanctions against attorney Jeffrey A.J. Millar on Monday in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, alleging he submitted papers withdrawing her objection without notifying her beforehand.
