Law360 (April 22, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has denied lead producer Doe Run Resources Corp.’s motion to make Zurich American Insurance Co. a plaintiff rather than a defendant — and consequently to dismiss the suit for lack of diversity — in Hartford Accident & Indemnity Co.’s lawsuit against it and Zurich over insurance coverage for personal injury suits arising from a lead smelting plant near Herculaneum, Mo.
