Monsanto Avoids Patent Claims In Antitrust Saga

Law360 (April 22, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge overseeing long-running antitrust litigation against Monsanto Co. over its genetically modified soybean seeds and corn has rejected the plaintiffs' attempts to add patent claims to the putative class action, ruling that it is too late in the game to introduce such claims.
