Keurig Says Rival Stole Employees, Trade Secrets

Law360, New York (November 1, 2017, 3:08 PM EDT) -- Keurig Green Mountain Inc. came after a pair of former workers and their new employer, SharkNinja Operating LLC, in Massachusetts federal court Tuesday, contending that the rival home appliance company has aggressively poached its employees and raided its trade secrets.

The complaint alleges that SharkNinja has set its sights on Keurig employees as part of a recent effort to bolster its workforce after developing personal beverage appliances like its rival's popular hot drink machines, nabbing workers like former Keurig executive Ronald DiFabio and benefiting from their insider knowledge, despite being aware that they signed restrictive covenants.
