Plaintiffs Ask Court To Let WL Homes Suits Proceed

Law360 (April 23, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Plaintiffs in three lawsuits against WL Homes LLC over alleged defects in their houses are asking the court overseeing the bankrupt homebuilder's Chapter 11 proceedings to allow their cases to proceed in hopes of collecting against any applicable insurance policies.

The three motions, which seek relief from the automatic stay that shields debtors from litigation, were filed on Wednesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
