Insurers Off Hook For Six Flags Katrina Flood Damage

Law360 (April 23, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has held that a flood sublimit applies to losses caused by Hurricane Katrina, letting Liberty Corporate Capital Ltd., Westchester Surplus Lines Insurance Co. and other excess insurers off the hook in a disputed claim with Six Flags Inc.'s amusement park in New Orleans.
