Countrywide, AIG Clash Over Venue For Dueling Suits

Law360 (April 24, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Countrywide Financial Corp. is seeking to trump a federal suit filed against it by an American International Group Inc. unit with a competing state court action, asking a district judge to stay and ultimately remand claims that it misrepresented risk on mortgage insurance policies it held with the AIG unit.
