Trademark & Infringement LLP: 4 Fights Over Firm Names

Law360, New York (November 14, 2017, 6:38 PM EST) -- Fish & Richardson PC quietly settled a trademark dispute last week with another “Fish” firm, ending the latest in a string of fights between law firms over similar-sounding names.

The IP powerhouse had been hit with a declaratory judgment lawsuit in September after it threatened to “enforce its rights vigorously” against Fish IP Law — a California IP boutique that changed its name from Fish & Tsang LLP this summer.
