EEOC Wants In On 9th Circ. Pay Bias Rehearing

Law360, New York (November 28, 2017, 3:13 PM EST) -- The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission asked on Monday to participate in an upcoming Ninth Circuit rehearing of a ruling allowing a California school district’s policy of paying workers based on their past salary, having previously argued the decision undermines the Equal Pay Act.
