EMC Exec Barred From HP Job Under Noncompete

Law360, New York (May 5, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- One day before former EMC Corp. executive David Donatelli was slated to join rival Hewlett-Packard Co., a judge issued a preliminary injunction barring the former officer from working at HP due to a noncompete agreement.

The Superior Court of Suffolk County in Massachusetts issued the injunction on Monday, the day before Donatelli was set to begin work at HP.
