Touradji Capital Owes $91M To Ex-Portfolio Managers
Law360 (June 10, 2019, 6:04 PM EDT) -- Hedge fund Touradji Capital Management LP owes $91 million to two former portfolio managers allegedly cheated out of their rightful cut of trading profits, including a New York state jury's $45.7 million award and interest dating back to 2008, according to court documents posted Monday.
A jury on May 23 awarded $24.33 million to former Touradji portfolio manager Robert Vollero and $21.4 million to former portfolio manager Gentry Beach. A court clerk on Monday added $24.1 million in prejudgment interest for Vollero, bringing Vollero's total to $48.4 million, and $21.2 million in prejudgment interest for Beach, bringing Beach's total to $42.6 million....
