Deals Rumor Mill: West Corp., Party City, Precision Capital

By Benjamin Horney (April 27, 2017, 7:34 PM EDT) -- Apollo Global Management LLC is closing in on an acquisition of West Corp., with Reuters reporting Thursday that the New York-based private equity giant is in advanced negotiations to buy the call center operator and debt collection company. According to the report, Apollo won an auction for West Corp., though days of negotiations still remain and nothing is guaranteed. It is unclear what the price tag will be, but based on the current stock price of West Corp., it has a value of almost $2.3 billion, the report noted....
