Deals Rumor Mill: T-Mobile, Go-Jek, Deutsche

By Adam Rhodes (June 7, 2018, 8:00 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Justice is taking a look at how prices for small wireless operators could be affected by a merger between Sprint and T-Mobile, according to a Thursday report from Reuters. Citing a pair of anonymous sources, the outlet reported that the DOJ has been reaching out to operators and wants their take on the proposed deal. The carriers unveiled their long-awaited deal to merge, worth roughly $59 billion, in late April after previous deal talks over the past few years failed. In response to the deal, leaders of a Senate judiciary subcommittee scheduled a hearing for the end of the month. The American Antitrust Institute urged the DOJ to block the deal in a Tuesday press release....
