Law360 (June 18, 2018, 1:22 PM EDT) -- While headlines proliferate about the recent political shake-ups at the nascent Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the century-old Federal Trade Commission, with less fanfare, finally has a full slate of five commissioners for the first time since 2015.

On April 26, 2018, the Senate confirmed all five of President Donald Trump's nominees to serve as commissioners of the FTC. This is the first time since the creation of the FTC that all five commissioners were confirmed by the Senate at the same time.
