Cura Partners Settles Claims With Consultant Over Merger

By Sarah Jarvis (June 30, 2021, 5:39 PM EDT) -- Cannabis company Cura Partners and an investing consultant have reached an agreement to settle the consultant's suit over an unpaid finder's fee stemming from Cura Partners' acquisition in a $950 million deal, according to a California federal court filing.

In a joint notice Tuesday, Cura Partners and Arcadian Capital LLC asked the court to schedule a dismissal hearing and withhold ruling on a pending summary judgment motion. The two-page notice did not include any details about the settlement, and counsel for the parties did not immediately respond to inquiries about the settlement Wednesday.
