A Pennsylvania federal judge Wednesday approved a special master's recommendation of $3.9 million in fees to Eli Lilly and Co. subsidiary Avid Radiopharmaceuticals for its expenses defending a bad-faith patent suit by Alzheimer's Institute of America Inc. deemed "exceptional" under the Octane Fitness decision.
