    Perdue, Kroger Agree To Settle Chicken Labeling Suits

    Perdue Farms Inc. agreed Monday to settle two proposed class actions in New Jersey and Florida alleging the chicken processor falsely claimed chicken sold under one of its brands was humanely raised, days after Kroger Co. reached a similar deal in a California suit.
