A Colorado federal judge has let Google, Samsung, HTC and others off the hook on allegations that they infringed a voice command patent, after finding that the invalidation of the same asserted claims in California applied to the current case.

Apple Inc.'s Siri voice recognition application infringes a voice command patent held by Potter Voice Technologies LLC, according to the licensing group, which sued Apple, Google Inc., Microsoft Corp. and others Wednesday in Colorado federal court.
