Microsoft To Pay $4.6M To End Mirror Worlds' Patent Suit
Microsoft has agreed to pay more than $4.6 million to Mirror Worlds to end a lawsuit in Texas federal court alleging it infringed a patent for organizing computer documents in chronological order, Mirror Worlds said Monday.

Apple Wants Mirror Worlds Patent Nixed Under Alice
Apple Inc. has asked a Texas federal judge to strike down a patent that Mirror Worlds Technologies LLC accused Apple, Microsoft Corp. and others of infringing, arguing Mirror Worlds' patent for organizing computer documents in chronological order is invalid under the U.S. Supreme Court's Alice decision.
