Staffing Firm Escapes Suit Over Tech Who Spread Hep C
A New Hampshire federal judge on Thursday pared down Exeter Hospital Inc.'s attempt to hold a staffing agency accountable for a former technician's actions, which exposed dozens of patients to Hepatitis C and landed him a sentence of 39 years, saying the staffing agency can't be held liable for the technician's conduct.

Exeter Hospital Inc. has sued the former hospital technician who was sentenced to 39 years in prison for exposing patients in 2012 to hepatitis C, as well as the staffing agencies he worked with, according to a suit removed to New Hampshire federal court Monday.
