EPA Says Navistar Liability For Uncertified Engines Is Clear
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has urged an Illinois federal court to find Navistar Inc. liable for manufacturing and selling thousands of heavy-duty diesel engines that were not certified in compliance with the Clean Air Act, arguing there is no dispute that the noncompliant engines were put into commerce.

EPA Says Navistar Engines Violate Emissions Laws
The government launched a suit Tuesday in Illinois federal court accusing Navistar Inc. of violating the Clean Air Act by selling heavy-duty diesel engines without the Environmental Protection Agency's approval that they meet emissions standards.
