CORRECTED: Vegas Hotel's $30M Insurance Claim Is Premature
A Nevada federal judge has ruled that a hotel can’t claim $30 million in lost business income in its breach of contract suit against Travelers Indemnity Co. following a storm that caused rain damage, but she said a jury must decide whether a tarpaulin constituted a “roof” and is eligible for insurance coverage. Correction: A previous version of this article misstated the judge’s ruling on the lost business income claim. The error has been corrected.
