Online Clothing Merchants Escape E-Retail Wiretapping Suit

Law360 (July 12, 2018, 7:40 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge on Thursday dismissed proposed class action privacy suits lodged against online mattress seller Casper, outdoors clothing retailer Moosejaw and men's clothing firm Charles Tyrwhitt, ruling that the companies' alleged use of software that tracks website visitors' keystrokes was not an illegal wiretap.
